Most trouble with GoHighLevel integrations starts after the connection is made.
A Stripe account links to one sub-account at a time, a Calendly sync only runs one way, and a Zoom link only generates for certain calendar types. Knowing those limits up front saves a rebuild later.
What follows sorts the common connections by what they do, explains the three ways to connect a tool that has no native link, and flags the catches. The setup details come from third-party guides, so check menu names against your own account before you build.
A GoHighLevel integrations list by job
Payments come first, because GoHighLevel has no payment gateway of its own. According to SupplyGem's integrations guide from November 2025, you need a gateway to take money at all, and features such as the SaaS configurator and rebilling depend on Stripe specifically.
Most native connections live in Agency View under Settings > Integrations. The same guide counts almost 1,500 third-party apps in the App Marketplace, which behaves much like a plugin directory.
Here's how the common categories break down.
| Job | Tools named in the sources | What to know before connecting |
|---|---|---|
| Payments | Stripe, PayPal, Square, NMI, Authorize.net, Razorpay | A gateway is required to receive money. Stripe unlocks the most features. |
| Calendars and meetings | Google Calendar, Zoom, Calendly | Zoom links and Calendly imports each have restrictions, covered below. |
| Messaging | WhatsApp, Slack | WhatsApp carries a monthly fee. Slack needs Premium Triggers and Actions. |
| Reviews and listings | Google Business Profile, Yext | Business Profile feeds reviews into Conversations and Reputation. |
| Accounting | QuickBooks, Wave, Xero | QuickBooks sync is not retroactive for existing invoices. |
| Ads and lead capture | Facebook Lead Ads, Google and Meta ads | Map every field your workflow needs. |
| E-commerce | Shopify, Printful, Shippo, ShipStation | Shipping tools bill per label or per month. |
Payments and accounting: where the money moves
Each sub-account connects to a single Stripe account. An agency-wide Stripe login doesn't cover every client location, so confirm which legal business actually receives the money before you authorise anything, and check test and live modes before you publish a payment page. That advice comes from mailfloss's guide, updated on September 30, 2026.
QuickBooks Online syncs customers, sales receipts and new invoices, and can import older QuickBooks invoices during setup. Invoices that already exist in GoHighLevel don't sync backwards, and imported ones don't update the same way new ones do.
So decide early which system owns each record type. Two systems that both believe they own the invoice is how a bookkeeper loses an afternoon.
Calendars, Zoom and Calendly
Zoom generates a unique meeting link for a booking and can drop it into the confirmation message. It only works for Personal Booking, Round Robin, Service and Collective calendars, so test the exact user and calendar pair you plan to sell.
Calendly is the reverse situation. It imports selected events as appointments and creates or updates contacts, but the sync is one-way. Edit a booking in Calendly, never in GoHighLevel, and note that calendars you didn't select at the start won't sync later.
If you're choosing between them for a new setup, use GoHighLevel's own calendars and keep Zoom for the meeting link. That avoids the one-way problem entirely.
Messaging, WhatsApp and review tools
WhatsApp can be filtered inside a workflow with the Customer Replied trigger, so that automation answers only WhatsApp replies. Conversation windows, approved templates, consent and do-not-disturb settings still apply, and the integration doesn't switch them off.
It also costs money: the guide lists WhatsApp at $10 a month per sub-account, with Pro-plan agencies able to rebill it at a markup.
Google Business Profile ties a verified location to Conversations and Reputation, so reviews arrive with their page name attached. On multi-location accounts, confirm the selected page before replying to anything.
What does it cost to run these integrations?

Most native connections are free to switch on, but a handful bill separately. These are the figures the guides report, and they may have changed since publication.
| Item | Reported price | What it buys |
|---|---|---|
| $10 a month per sub-account | WhatsApp messaging inside Conversations | |
| Premium Triggers and Actions | First 100 executions free, then $0.01 each | Inbound webhooks, Slack and OpenAI steps |
| Yext | $75 a month | Listings across 200+ sites, against about 70 for the native tool |
| ShipStation | $75 a month | 1,000 shipping labels |
Per-use charges are the ones that surprise people. A workflow that calls an AI step on every inbound message adds up on a busy account, which is worth modelling before you roll it out to a client. Our breakdown of how GoHighLevel's plans are priced covers the platform side of the bill.
How do you connect a tool GoHighLevel doesn't support?
Use Zapier, a webhook, or the API, in roughly that order of effort. Zapier and similar tools cover apps with no native link, and the API suits anything custom. Webhooks sit in between and work in both directions.
On the Zapier side, there's no branded GoHighLevel app. You build with the LeadConnector app instead, using your API key from the sub-account's Settings > API, according to SupplyGem's webhook walkthrough. That page was last updated in April 2024, so screens may differ today, and its plan notes contradict each other. Check what your own plan allows.
A typical inbound webhook runs like this:
- In a workflow, add a trigger and choose Inbound Webhook.
- Copy the generated URL into the other platform.
- Send a sample request, using the same HTTP method the other platform sends.
- Map the incoming fields to contact fields, then save the trigger.
Chains of services fail at the joins. One vendor's August 2026 help article for pushing leads into GoHighLevel through Zapier describes a path through three services and names field mapping and authentication as the usual failure points. Its advice is to test end to end and read the logs at each stage.
Which integrations fit an agency running client accounts?
Agencies feel the one-account-per-sub-account rules hardest. Stripe, Business Profile and Zoom all attach at sub-account level, so a new client means repeating the connections rather than inheriting them. Put the repeat steps in a checklist and run it at onboarding.
It also affects which CRM you standardise on. If integrations and rebilling drive your margins, our comparison of how GoHighLevel and HubSpot bill agencies and the wider CRM roundup for marketing agencies show where each platform's costs land.
When a connection you need doesn't exist and webhooks stop being enough, a custom build is the next step. That's the kind of work our AI and automation team does, and it's where an app or SaaS layer on top of GoHighLevel starts to make sense.
Start with one connection per job, test each on a throwaway contact, and write down which system owns which record before a second tool touches the same data.
Frequently asked questions
Does GoHighLevel work with WhatsApp?
Yes. WhatsApp can be connected and used in workflows through the Customer Replied trigger. The reported fee is $10 a month per sub-account, and the platform's messaging rules around templates and consent still apply.
Can GoHighLevel take payments without Stripe?
GoHighLevel has no gateway of its own, so you need to connect one. Besides Stripe, the guides list PayPal, Square, NMI, Authorize.net and Razorpay, though Stripe is the one the SaaS configurator and rebilling depend on.
Does the Calendly integration sync both ways?
No. It's one-way, so edit events in Calendly and let them flow into GoHighLevel. Calendars you didn't select during setup won't sync later.
Do I need Zapier to connect other apps?
Not always. Native integrations cover many tools, and inbound webhooks cover many of the rest. Zapier and similar tools fill the remaining gaps, using the LeadConnector app and your API key.
