About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our growing team. This is a hybrid and part-time/project-based opportunity for someone who is passionate about building high-quality software and wants to contribute beyond traditional QA responsibilities.

We're looking for someone who not only ensures product quality but also understands the product from a user's perspective and can contribute as a Product Engineer by identifying usability improvements, validating business requirements, and collaborating closely with product, design, and development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.

• Perform manual testing across web and mobile applications.

• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers throughout the development lifecycle.

• Participate in requirement analysis and provide quality-focused feedback before implementation.

• Validate new features against business requirements and user expectations.

• Perform regression, functional, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing.

• Ensure releases meet quality standards before production deployment.

• Suggest product improvements and help enhance the overall user experience.

• Act as a quality advocate while contributing to product discussions and decision-making.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance.

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

• Experience testing web and mobile applications.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

• Experience with bug tracking and project management tools (Jira, ClickUp, Trello, etc.).

• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.

• Product-oriented mindset with the ability to think from the end user's perspective.

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a hybrid environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.

• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases.

• Familiarity with automation testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, etc.).

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

• Experience testing AI-powered or SaaS products.

Compensation
