Job Overview:

Octopi Digital Ltd is looking for a passionate .NET Developer to join our growing software development team. The ideal candidate should have practical experience or strong academic exposure to building real-life applications using .NET Framework / .NET Core, C#, MVC, and Web API, with database knowledge in MySQL or MSSQL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using .NET technologies (C#, MVC, .NET Core, Web API)
• Design and implement RESTful APIs
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code
• Work with SQL-based databases (MSSQL/MySQL), including queries, stored procedures, and schema design
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers
• Participate in requirement analysis, technical planning, and code reviews
• Debug, test, and optimise application performance
• Use version control tools (Git) and follow Agile development methodologies

Tech Stack We Use:

Backend & Frameworks:
• .NET Framework, .NET Core
• C#, ASP.NET MVC
• Web API

Databases:
• Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)
• MySQL

Tools & Other Skills:
• Visual Studio, Postman, Git, LINQ, Entity Framework
• Experience with REST API development
• Understanding of basic frontend (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a plus

Requirements:

• 0–01 years of experience in .NET development
• Proficient in C# and OOP principles
• Knowledge of .NET MVC / .NET Core Web API
• Familiarity with SQL queries and database structure
• Good Knowledge of software architecture and RESTful APIs
• Comfortable using Visual Studio and Git for version control
• Good communication and collaboration skills

• Proficiency in English is a priority
• Strong eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range: BDT 15K- 30k
• Probation Period: 4 months
