Job Overview

Octopi Digital Ltd. is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Junior/Mid-Level SQA/QA Tester to strengthen our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for detail, solid knowledge of software testing practices, and the ability to ensure that our web and mobile applications meet the highest standards before deployment.

In addition, the selected candidate will initially work on a .NET project, so knowledge of C# and familiarity with the .NET framework are required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing on websites, web apps, and mobile apps

• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Trello, Jira, or similar

• Write and execute test cases and scenarios based on requirements

• Collaborate with developers and designers to ensure quality from planning to release

• Participate in regression, smoke, and functional testing

• Ensure usability, responsiveness, and compatibility across devices and browsers

• Assist in setting up automation testing (if applicable)

• Work closely with the development team on .NET projects, ensuring code quality and performance

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in software QA (Freshers can apply)

• Basic knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA processes

• Understanding of different testing methods (functional, regression, usability, etc.)

• Basic experience with test case documentation and bug reporting

• Familiarity with browser dev tools and responsive testing

• Knowledge of C# and familiarity with the .NET framework (must-have)

• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus

• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written

• Analytical and detail-oriented mindset with eagerness to learn new tools and methodologies

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: BDT 13,000 – 25,000 (based on experience)
